Alder Details

Alder offers exclusive fishing on your own 3 acre lake complete with a luxury air conditioned lodge and hot tub. The site offers a great view over-looking the Lincolnshire Wolds, a range of hills that is designated an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”. The lake contains carp up to 40lb+; a nice mix including mirrors with a nice variety of different scale patterns and some lovely looking commons. Looking at recent captures (October 2021) there is now a very healthy head of fish over 20lb present with an increasing number of fish through 25 to 30lb already!

Alder is very well suited to a couples/family getaway offering a luxury relaxing fishing experience in a private, peaceful location, without public access. As this is Chris and Jo’s own personal lake set adjacent to the house, there will only be 15 to 20 weeks available for booking each year. This also means that we are not looking to cater for loud single-sex group/party bookings, just those looking for a nice peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of life.

The prices are for two adult guests (children are free). If more than two adults wish to attend, then each additional adult will need to pay an additional supplement. The additional supplement for an additional adult angler is £90 for the weekend, £100 for the midweek and £175 for the full week. The additional supplement for an additional adult non-angler is £60 for the weekend, £80 for the midweek and £100 for the full week.

All guests visit Old Mill Lakes strictly at their own risk. No liability for accidents or injuries will be accepted.

We require a 50% deposit to secure your booking with the remaining balance to be paid no later than 2 months before the start of your holiday. Our preferred means of payment is via BACS. Please note that no refunds are given. If the owners are informed of cancellation prior to the 2 months period before arrival, then you can rearrange your holiday for different dates in the same calendar year. Only anglers and visitors who have booked are allowed on the property. Unauthorised visitors will be asked to leave. No sub-letting or sharing of the property is permitted except with persons nominated when booking.
